Charles Anthony injured - Military

SRI LANKA-LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran's eldest son was wounded in battle against Sri Lankan security forces, military spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said on Wednesday.
Charles Anthony, 24, was injured during fighting last week in the northeast of the island where the rebels have been cornered, Nanayakkara said.
"Through technical sources we have confirmed that Prabhakaran's son Charles Anthony was wounded last week in a confrontation with ground troops," he said, adding no details of his injuries were known.
