Economy records 7 per cent growth
SRI LANKA-Sri Lanka’s economy has expanded recording a 7.0 per cent growth in the second quarter of 2008 against 6.4 per cent in the second quarter of last year and 6.2 per cent in the first quarter of this year with rains boosting farming and hydro power. dailynews
