Kilinochchi will be captured in 48 hrs. - Army chief
SRI LANKA-Army commander Lt. Gen. Sarath Fonseka says the LTTE heartland of Kilinochchi town will be captured within the next 48 hours.
His statement came hours after the Army announced that it had taken control of Paranthan town and Iranamadu Junction.
According to reports, the Defence Ministry is due take a media team from Colombo this evening (Jan. 01st) to cover the capture of Kilinochchi town.lankadessent
