LTTE leaders' luxury life exposed; a swimming pool located



SRI LANKA-A swimming pool which is believe to be used by the high profile LTTE leaders have been located by the troops of 58 Division advancing towards LTTE's only remaining stronghold, Puthukkudiyiruppu built-up, yesterday, 25 February.
Troops of 9 Gemunu Watch (9 GW) and 6 GW operating in west of Puthukkudiyiruppu captured the swimming pool and its surrounding fortifications following hours long fighting, military sources said.
The swimming pool is 50 feet long and 30 feet width. Its deep end is over 7 feet and a diving board was also available, sources said.
By using nets and canopies it had been well concealed to prevent from aerial observation, defence sources further said. Cabana type cottages exist in the surrounding area indicates that high profile LTTE leaders frequented for this location.
According to the latest report, troops were able to further shrink the LTTE hiding area into 58 Square Kilometers while encircling LTTE's last stronghold, Puthukkudiyiruppu built-up.pix -sourses-defence.lk
