India appealed LTTE surrender.
India has appealed to the LTTE to surrender and negotiate with the government. Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram, in an interview with NDTV a short while ago, also said India does not provide any military assistance to the Army which could be used for offensive purposes.-dailymirror
