Police Commandos ambush LTTE group; 13 terror bodies found - Panama
SRI LANKA-Police Special Task Force (STF) personnel attacked a group of LTTE infiltrators detected in the Panama area this morning (Apr 3). According to the defence sources, 13 bodies of LTTE cadres have been found during the subsequent search. The sources also said that LTTE's explosive expert Paramanantha master is also among the dead
The police commandos launched a special operation in the area, on intelligence indicating possible LTTE presence. The attack took place close to the 10th Milepost at Lahugla around 10.30 AM.
