Troops capture LTTE bunker line 16 terrorists killed twenty -six wounded


SRI LANKA-Troops launched an attack on a LTTE bunker line located in ANDANKULAM area around 9.00 a.m. yesterday (08). LTTE attempted to regain control of their bunker line however troops successfully thwarted the attack. 15 terrorists were killed and 26 more were wounded. Six valiant soldiers laid their lives while 44 others were wounded in action.

Another LTTE bunker located in MONARAWEWA was captured by troops around 10.20 a.m. yesterday (08). One terrorist was killed in the incident. One soldier laid his life and one was wounded in action.

Meanwhile LTTE launched a mortar attack on troops in GAJABAPURA area around 9.50 a.m. yesterday (08) one soldier laid his life due to attack.-MCNS
